Soundbombs

SOUNDBOMBS are versatile, mobile sound objects.

They can record sound and generate attention at strategic
locations. Direct targeting of a passers-by is similarly possible as playing music or whispering subtle messages.
Depending on the application, they are design objects
or hidden as camoufl aged interventions in their 'natural'
environment, company buildings, retail areas or in public
spaces.

SOUNDBOMBS are customized for their specific application and generate public attention in a small area. The acoustic irradation of a large square is not the aim of the SOUNDBOMBS, but rather the subtle approach and triggering of attention of predefined target groups.

Here you can find two different settings for SOUNDBOMBS which we realized in Tallinn, Estonia in 2012:

» CyCon 2012

Infecting a Conference on Cyber Conflicts...

» KUMU Art Museum
