FOLLOWER is an interactive light installation dealing playfully with the concept of ʻtracesʻ.

Fluorescent tubes behind white opaque plasticsheets are triggered by sensors near the ground. This occurs delayed through a relay. So, light stripes activated by passers are shining time delayed in the passage. Thus they develop a life of their own and seem to follow the visitors. The light traces of other passers-by who have just been in this passage become visible. Each passerby leaves a trace in the interactive lighting hallway.

Corridors and buildings turn into bright, vivid sculptures.
