About PUPLIK.ORG

PUPLIK.ORG, thatʼs Diane Müller and Werner Magar.

After graduating Art Academy and University, we worked at the Fraunhofer Institute for Media Communication as members of the MARS Exploratory Media Lab. There we focussed on media art. As independant artists, we completed various media and education projects. At times, the teams for those projects were multi disciplinary, collaborating with scientists, computer scientists and creative artists.

In 2006 we founded PUPLIK.ORG, with the motto: ʻThe public space is our living roomʼ:

With interventions, performances and installations, we help to transform the perceptional habits of public space. Central to our ideas is to refl ect on how public space can be regained as living space. Whether it is submerging the terrace of the Cologne Cathedrale with sound, the deployment of ʻguerilla-electronicsʼ in shopping malls or recapturing public squares: We have a bunch of ideas and the guts to realize them...
